But in all seriousness, I really do think that my favorite AT episodes are the ones that make the cogs in my brain turn ultra fast. (And the ones that hit me in the feels, I suppose, though these two things are not necessarily mutually exclusive.) The reason I ended up really liking the season five opening two-parter in the first place was for the indirect character development and worldbuilding, after all.

#not that I don't like the less worldbuilding- or charter-focused episodes or anything like that #for example Time Sandwich was great #I just really like worldbuilding and character development #I ge the same way about character arcs and character development as some people get about shipping #well okay maybe not that extreme #at least not on the surface #but I just really like worldbuilding and character development okay #I really need to write up some of my narrative theory stuff someday

That feel when you have ideas in your AU that end up being at least partially reflected in canon

But you never wrote them down except for with your co-creator so now everybody will think you got those ideas from canon

#but I really liked the episode #even though CURSE YOU AT AND YOUR ABRUPT EPISODE ENDINGS #but the flashback was nice #and a canon Flame King FP design so now I don't have to use the one I came up with that was very much a work in progress #though it can still be used for formal wear I guess? #alternate universes created by divergent timelines and all that.

Oh yeah, so, I managed to get in to that Animation Pre-Production class I wanted to add!

My first homework assignment is to draw something digitally.
