Quick apology to anybody who’s sent me asks recently - the semester just started and I’ve been compiling application stuff and getting back in the swing of having to physically go to school and do homework again. I’ll get to them though, so don’t worry!

Recent twitter things so I can pretend I’ve actually been producing content, featuring Dr. Maheswaran from tonight’s episode and a Pearl and Steven watercolor thing that I completely messed up, so it never got past where it is in the photo. But I like it so I’m posting it anyway.

Hi, I wanted to ask if you studied illustration or something like that, your drawing is very beautiful, very clear, well staged, just pretty, but you said you're not currently working in an art related field, have you thought about selling your art online or doing commissions? Have a nice day :)
Thank you very much for all those compliments :,D I actually didn’t study illustration. I mean, I took a couple of drawing courses here and there, and I was lucky enough to end up in a really great Animation Pre-Production course while I was an undergrad, but that’s about it, and all of that stuff’s pretty recent.
I have considered selling my artwork (you’re not the first person to ask recently! And I’m crazy flattered by the way, people who asked), and I’m definitely keeping that option open, if nothing else to have that available for people who want prints of my stuff or whatever. And I do usually offer commissions, but I just closed them temporarily.
Thank you for asking, and have a nice day as well! Even though I answered this ask pretty late. Sorry about that.

I really love your art! Do you mind if I use it in a video? If I can, what do you want to be credited as? I will of course link back to your social media networks and the original art~
Thank you! And go ahead! : D You can credit me as ohseagull and just link them over here : )
For the record, anybody is free to share my art wherever, or use it for headers and icons and video content and stuff, as long they link back and everything. The usual “please don’t be an art thief” stuff~
Temporarily Closing Commissions
Gonna close down commissions for the next month or so, since I just went back to school and I’m gonna have tests and stuff coming up (and I’d still like to have at least a tiny bit of time to potentially post content if I can manage to do so. I’m very bad at keeping myself from drawing even when I have very little time, so we’ll see). I’ll let you guys know when they’re open again!~

Holy moly what glorious art programs do you use to make all your beautiful work?
I use Photoshop (CS5) for a good chunk of my stuff, though sometimes I also use Clip/Manga Studio! I highly recommend the latter for Mac users that don’t want to blow tons of money on Photoshop, as it’s a perfectly good program for a far cheaper price. (Photoshop is also great, of course.)
I’ve also been doing lots of traditional media stuff lately - watercolor, generally, but I’ve been messing around with alcohol-based markers as well (Copics and Prismacolors).

Two Pearl watercolor things from the last couple of days (the top one is from an earlier sketch I posted). Also, gladioli.

Super quick and sorta tiny twitter dump, sorry for the recent lack of content
