(For those curious about how I selected the winner, I went through all the notes on the original post and jotted down every username’s first appearance on the note list and after checking that every user there followed me, I assigned everybody a number based on the order that they showed up on the list - so the order that each person liked or reblogged the post, basically. Then I had random.org select a number and tah-dah!)

Quick Kinda-Important Life Update
Just a quick life update for all of you - having now gone through at least the first visit to all of my classes for this semester, I can safely say that I’ll likely be busy as hell. Like, reading 1-200 pages of material a week along with various assignments busy. Ah, the life of an English/Creative Writing major~ (even though the busiest class I have by far isn’t even for my major, with nine books of various sizes. But I digress.)
Anyway, I just wanted to apologize in advance if I vanish from the internet at any given point, or fail to promptly reply to asks and such. Similarly, I wanted to apologize for any further delays in entering ask blog fills in the future, or in me posting creative pieces in general. Believe me, I wish I didn’t have to make a post like this, but unless I magically get a rhythm down or some of these classes end up being not nearly as intimidatingly work-filled as they first appeared, this is gonna be a really busy semester for me. : (
