My verdict on Sword Art Online (anime version) so far after marathoning all the available episodes:
Things SAO is not good at:
- Exposition
- Consistent Pacing
Things SAO is very good at:
- Being visually appealing while never abandoning the conceit that it’s taking place mostly in an MMO, and in fact embracing it instead
- FIGHT SCENES

Have you heard of a movie called "Sita Sings the Blues?" If not, I highly recommend it! I'm sure you can find it on YouTube if you're interested!
You know, I actually have heard of it (I sure do love me some Ramayana! …Really, most anything religion and mythology-related, but I digress), but I have yet to watch it! Thanks for reminding me : )
