Also, I’m thinking that I’ll name Male Hinawa Tanega -shortened from Tanegashima, another name for a Japanese matchlock gun (you know, like Hinawajuu)
Either that or just leave the name as Hinawa? The name itself isn’t gendered like Lucas or Claus, and it’s so deeply associated with the character that it admittedly feels weird changing it. ( Haha, if that name doesn’t change, then does Flint just stay as Flint? XD )
Or maybe if Hinawa’s name does change Flint can be called Mique or something since it’s another gun term looselely related to flintlocks and stuff? XP Or Boyer just for the lulz

Lucy and Colette?
(And a bunch of doodles of me trying to figure out Colette’s hair because jeez. Doesn’t help that I draw Claus’s normal hair really strangely already.)
Fun fact: much like how Lucy is the feminine of Lucas, and has the same meaning (yay Pepper), Colette is the feminine equivalent in meaning to Claus : ) That’s my justification and I’m sticking to it

So, I went and doodled some of my most nostalgic first gen Pokemon?
Fun Nonakani Nostalgia Trivia: Hypno carried me through my first ever playthrough of Pokemon Red, Jynx was the first Pokemon I ever got to level 100, my first ever shiny was a Pidgey that I eventually evolved (not during first gen, obviously, but still a first gen Pokemon I guess?), and I wasted my first ever Master Ball in that same first playthrough on a Ditto because IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, MAN. (Ditto’s still my favorite, by the way.)
I had some really strange favorite Pokemon choices. Wow.
Man I drew a bizarre Ditto. Also, how do I draw wings? The answer is that I don’t.
