This whole new username thing is really weird.
It’s like, I don’t regret it, but I have this feeling in my gut like when I spend a lot of money, like “Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I could have bought groceries with thaaaaaaaaat,” only it’s a username instead of a monetary value.
I just have to suck it up and I’ll be fine in a few days. : U

I’m sure you’ve noticed something very different about my internet handle.
I’ve decided to adopt a new username. This has nothing to do with anything serious, but rather my own peace of mind - I’ve had the same username for forever and a day, and through a lot of fandoms, too. I just feel like it’s time for a change, since I feel so much disconnect between the me of now and the me of eight years ago. Similarly, assuming the internet - in all its incapability - is connected to me professionally in the future (all likelihood points to yes), all the spaztasticness of my youth will follow me, and I’d like to lessen that as much as possible.
I’m not gonna pretend I’m not the same person or anything like that, so don’t worry XD I just thought it was time for a change, as much as it’ll probably take a while for others (and myself) to get used to it.
Sorry for throwing this out all of a sudden! It’s really strange but kind of exciting for me, honestly.

So, various people that know my tumblr exists! I have a question:
What are your opinions on me posting more writer-y stuff?
I mean, I certainly want to - I have plenty of outlooks on literary and speculative and (of course) fan fiction I would love to share, as well as some stuff I plan on working on - and I would love to post them here, as this is essentially my blog.
The problem, of course, is that Tumblr is an image-based website. And it’s not like I would get super-long reviews like if I posted stuff to Livejournal or something. And, of course, I would use “Read More…” tags if I actually went through with anything. No need to fill people’s dashboards with RANDOM FANFIC CRAP.
The thing is, as much as I love drawing (and thus draw all the time), my future career aspects are in writing, and it’s what I’m studying. Thus, I’ll probably be writing more…at some point.
EDIT: The good news is that now this can actually be answered! The bad news is I had to repost it. Sorry!
EDIT 2: Just to clarify, I would probably crosspost things. Maybe not me rambling about stuff (at least, not immediately), but if I wrote any (longer, I’m-very-proud-of-it) fic, it would be everywhere.
Cleared out a lot of stuff, as promised. : ) Still working on the rest of the layout stuff.
Well, the main framework of the layout is done! : ) Gonna draw something for the sidebar and background at some point, and clean out some of the random posts and transfer them to Likes and stuff like that. Clean up a bit of the clutter.
