I just suddenly flashed back to how great the Madoka movies were?
Like, specifically, there was one new BGM track (and ALL OF THE NEW BGM WAS GOOD, NOT A SINGLE MISS, THREE NEW VERSIONS OF DECRETUM TO MAKE MY HEART SING WITH SIMULTANEOUS JOY AND ANGUISH, ETC.) in the episode four equivalent part where Homura and Madoka are walking together and Homura’s talking (this whole scene is also reanimated, by the way) and the BGM starts off as Sis Puella Magica and then YOU HEAR IT START CHANGING AND BECOMING MORE AND MORE MOROSE AND THEN IT’S SUDDENLY ALSO PUELLA IN SOMNIO AT THE SAME TIME? I JUST…IT WAS GOOD.
