…On a more coherent topic, remember when the Pokemon game manuals had all sorts of art and little snippets of worldbuilding in them? Now it’s all technical information and stuff like that.
(Then again, at least this is an actual, multi-paged manual: OoT3D just had a folded insert. I remember after opening the OoT3D box for the first time and staring blankly at the insert, I pulled out my Wind Waker box, opened the manual - slight water damage on the first few pages, page corners bent and unbent and literally worn with how much I used to flip through it - and cried nostalgia tears. Okay, I didn’t actually cry, but still.)
