Wow I wish my semester wasn’t so crazily busy ;___;  There’s so much stuff I want to work on, and frankly a lot of the work I’ve been getting in my classes feels like pointless (or at least nearly-pointless) busywork. : U

I swear I’ve been working on this plushie and its pattern literally since winter break and I’m cutting fabric right now for the first time in a while.  I forgot how relatively relaxing it is~  Well, relaxing especially in comparison to the two tests I had this week.

And tomorrow I have a required museum trip with my class in the city…which I have to commute to and from on my own.  And pay for on my own.  And that I only found out about around a week ago.  I really like museums, but I’m not so fond of the forced-on-short-notice-to-go-to-them thing.

And seriously wow I’m in this really weird emotion state right now and sorry I’m making so many text posts but I’m actually kind of upset?  Not that it’s Japan-only, but that it’s Mother 2 again.  I’ll probably feel better about this later and delete this text post because I feel like such an asshole just writing this, but I gotta get it off my chest, I guess.

My verdict on Sword Art Online (anime version) so far after marathoning all the available episodes:

Things SAO is not good at:

  • Exposition
  • Consistent Pacing

Things SAO is very good at:

  • Being visually appealing while never abandoning the conceit that it’s taking place mostly in an MMO, and in fact embracing it instead
  • FIGHT SCENES

Time to go read the source material, I guess~

I just…don’t think he would become bishounen?

Now, don’t jump on me, let me explain myself-

The design floating around isn’t bad or anything by any means…but it just doesn’t scream Finn to me.  I mean, even canon Ice King has Simon in his design (though I guess its the other way around?).

So that design certainly looks like an Ice Prince, but not necessarily one with Finn the Nosed Human at its base.
